    Deposits & Financing with Maronda Homes

    Focus Collection Deposit

    Work with RMC Mortgage to get pre-approved. Once pre-approved, the deposit is an initial $2,500 to hold the property, followed by an additional $2,500 on conditional approval (approximately 30 days later). The first deposit is non-refundable if you decide not to move forward before the second deposit. Once both deposits are paid, neither is refundable.

    Americana Collection Deposit

    Work with RMC Mortgage to obtain a pre-approval. Once pre-approved, the deposit depends on your loan type: Conventional loan — two deposits of 2.5% of the purchase price (5% total). FHA loan — two deposits of 1.75% of the purchase price (3.5% total). VA or USDA loan — two deposits of 1% of the purchase price (2% total).

    Lender Partnership: RMC Mortgage

    You can always choose to work with a different lender. However, Maronda Homes may cover a significant portion of your closing costs if you choose their affiliated lender, RMC Mortgage. Third-party lenders typically do not offer this benefit. As an example, a recent Maronda buyer had $11,700 in closing costs and Maronda covered $10,000 of those because the buyer used RMC Mortgage.
